CA(SA) candidates serve their three-year articles at SAICA-accredited firms, and most of those articles are at the South African offices of PwC, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG. By the time a CA(SA) qualifies, they have audited IFRS-reporting companies, worked on group consolidations, and seen the kind of complex transactions your UK auditors see. The methodology is identical. The qualification is internationally respected, and the ICAEW Pathway Agreement formally recognises it.
